Later, a quick stop at El Coyote Café for a rehearsal dinner — margaritas, vintage booths, and the best lighting a photographer could ask for.

This wedding wouldn’t be about stiff portraits or overly curated details. It would be about catching the blur of champagne being poured, hands reaching for another martini, glitter catching the light on the dance floor.

I’d shoot a mix of 35mm film and direct flash digital, leaning into that gritty, editorial edge that makes photos feel like a spread from Interview Magazine circa 1978. The result: images that don’t just show what it looked like — but what it felt like to be there.
